Working with traumatised clients is very different to working with clients that come to you for their personal development. Working in trauma recovery means dealing with at times vulnerable, emotionally unstable clients who experience regular mental health challenges. This training has been specifically designed to equip you with the foundation you need to work with traumatised clients.

Standard hypnotherapy training focuses on teaching basic hypnosis techniques and how to help clients with issues like smoking cessation, weight loss, confidence, or stress reduction as a form of personal development, without taking traumatic experiences into consideration.

The biggest limitation of traditional therapeutic approaches is the focus on the cognitive function in an attempt to find resolution through logic, analysis, interpretation and conversation. Unfortunately many trauma survivors experience little improvement after months and even years of therapy. The reason is that the damage caused by trauma sits on a much deeper level and needs to be addressed accordingly. To be able to do this we require practical tools that allow us to take the recovery work outside of the conscious mind and go within. Hypnosis allows us to do this gently, safely and effectively.
